2. Regulatory Compliance & Cottage Food Operation Notice

In accordance with Michigan state law:

Cottage Food Law Disclosure: All freeze-dried items, candies, and edible goods offered by Honeycomb & Harvest are produced in a home kitchen under Michigan’s Cottage Food Law.
Inspection Notice: These products are not inspected or licensed by the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development (MDARD).
Standards: While not inspected by MDARD, all items are crafted following state-mandated safety, hygiene, and labeling guidelines.

3. Allergen Warning & Product Disclaimers

Cross-Contamination: All edible goods are prepared in a home kitchen environment that may process or handle common food allergens, including but not limited to peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, soy, wheat, sesame, and eggs.
Customer Responsibility: Customers with severe food allergies or dietary restrictions are advised to contact us prior to placing an order. Honeycomb & Harvest cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and disclaims liability for adverse allergic reactions.

4. Ordering, Fulfillment & Local Pickup Terms

Local Pickup Only: Honeycomb & Harvest currently operates on a Local Pickup Only basis in Otsego, MI. We do not offer shipping. Specific pickup location details are provided during checkout and via order confirmation emails.
Pickup Timeline: Orders must be collected within two (2) weeks of purchase.
Unclaimed Orders Policy: If an order is not picked up within the two-week window:
1. The order will be cancelled automatically.
2. Cash or credit card refunds will not be issued.
3. The purchaser will receive store credit equal to the total order amount.

5. Sales, Returns & Exchanges

All Sales Final: Due to the perishable and consumable nature of freeze-dried foods, candies, lip balms, and handcrafted goods, all sales are final. We do not accept standard returns or exchanges.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders: If an order arrives damaged or contains incorrect items, the customer must notify us within seven (7) days of pickup by emailing hello@honeycombandharvest.com or shawn@honeycombandharvest.com. Please include the order number and clear photo evidence of the issue so we can evaluate a replacement or store credit on a case-by-case basis.

6. Payment Processing & Security

Third-Party Processing: Payments on our Site are securely processed through the Wix e-commerce platform.
Data Security: Honeycomb & Harvest does not store, view, or retain customer credit card numbers or financial account details. All transaction data is encrypted and handled in compliance with applicable security standards by Wix.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, graphics, images, product descriptions, and text appearing on www.honeycombandharvest.com are the exclusive intellectual property of Honeycomb & Harvest unless otherwise stated.
