Car fresheners have a reputation, and it is not a good one. Cardboard cut into a tree shape, a smell that goes from overwhelming to gone in about nine days, and a thing hanging off your mirror that you would rather nobody noticed.
We wanted ours to be something you would actually be happy to have in your car. So we made them out of glass.
What they are
Each one is a small black square glass jar with a wooden lid, hung on a string. It is a clean white mark on black glass and it looks like something, which is more than we can say for the tree.
Seven scents
They are pulled from the candle line, so if you already know which of ours you like, it is probably here.
Apple Pie and Pumpkin Pie for the fall drive. Heirloom, which is the warm cinnamon one people describe as smelling like somebody is cooking or walking into hobby lobby on a Saturday morning. Cranberry for something brighter and tart. Forest Pine for crisp evergreen. Sweet Tobacco, a warm blend of tobacco, vanilla, and amber, which has quietly become the one people buy for their husbands. And Vanilla, the plain creamy classic that nobody ever regrets.

All seven are in the car freshener collection. They also make a good small gift, which is the polite way of saying they fit in a stocking.
